IPL
IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light and is a light treatment using a technology that produces a broad spectrum of high-intensity light. IPL has many uses and can be used to treat superficial blood vessels, diffuse redness, and pigmentation spots on the face. IPL can also be used for hair removal on smaller areas such as the upper lip or bikini line.
The treatment is always customized according to needs and wishes. The heat from the light can be adjusted and used both superficially and deeper in the skin tissue depending on what is being treated.
At Estetiska Institutet, we use Nordlys IPL, which features the latest technology and can treat skin more effectively and safely than traditional IPL.
Some IPL treatments, such as for superficial blood vessels, can show results after the first session. Skin rejuvenation treatments usually require a series of 3 sessions for the best effect. Hair removal typically requires 6-10 treatments.
Skin rejuvenation with IPL/Fraxel laser
IPL treatment is used for skin rejuvenation, so-called photo skin rejuvenation, where the light penetrates deep into the skin and increases elasticity and firmness by stimulating new collagen production. Aged, especially sun-damaged skin, has lost collagen and thus becomes wrinkled and less elastic. The treatment reduces fine lines and enlarged pores and increases skin hydration and firmness. IPL treatment also removes superficial blood vessels and pigmentation spots commonly seen on sun-damaged skin. The skin attains a more even tone and a fresh, healthy appearance.
IPL treatment can be complemented with Fraxel laser. Fraxel laser provides powerful rejuvenation and collagen stimulation deep into the skin with rapid healing and minimal downtime—you often don’t need to stay home from work.
Skin rejuvenation with IPL requires a course of 3 treatments with 3-4 week intervals to stimulate new collagen formation. Scientific studies have shown that skin rejuvenation effects remain for up to 5 years after a course of IPL treatments.
Dermapen
Dermapen is an advanced microneedling treatment that increases the skin’s natural collagen production. Collagen contributes to skin firmness, strength, and elasticity. The amount of collagen decreases with age and heavy sun exposure. The skin can then appear loose, and fine lines, wrinkles, and folds become visible. Microneedling causes a controlled micro-injury in the skin, which stimulates new collagen and elastin production. The result is improved skin texture, tightening, and increased radiance. This method penetrates deeper than, for example, chemical peels. Dermapen can also treat acne scars, stretch marks, pigmentation, enlarged pores, and fine lines.
Results can be seen after the first Dermapen treatment, but typically 4-6 treatments are needed for optimal results. At Estetiska Institutet, we use Dermapen 4, the most advanced microneedling tool on the market.
PRX-T33
PRX-T33 is a new and revolutionary biorevitalization treatment that promotes skin rejuvenation. It is needle-free and causes minimal visible negative impact on the skin, meaning you avoid the so-called downtime after your treatment. PRX-T33 has a deep effect that delivers both immediate and long-term results. The treatment reduces wrinkles and fine lines, evens out skin tone, and deeply hydrates and revitalizes the skin.
Results are seen after the first treatment. For the best and longest-lasting effect, the treatment should be repeated about 3 times at weekly intervals.
Chemical peeling
A peeling treatment helps remove old and damaged skin cells along with impurities on the skin surface and in pores. Peeling accelerates cell renewal, which results in smoother skin with increased radiance. It also improves the skin’s ability to retain moisture, helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Chemical peeling works by creating controlled skin regeneration. The outermost skin layer is removed to stimulate collagen and elastin production. Each unique formula targets different skincare concerns, enabling customized treatments. We use peels from Mesoestetic consisting of AHA, BHA, TCA in varying strengths and pH levels, or combined peels designed for specific indications.
Peels can gradually reduce enlarged pores, fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne, and scars, leaving the skin more hydrated and with a more even texture.
TCA-peeling
TCA peeling is a medium-depth peel that treats severe acne, pigmentation, and signs of aging. It is also effective for treating skin damage, with a strong tightening, revitalizing effect and evens pigmentation. Easy TCA Pain Control with patented technology makes the treatment painless. We recommend a course of 3 treatments every 8 days.
Glow Up by Estetiska
Glow Up by Estetiska is a versatile treatment combining three steps in one session to improve skin quality and radiance. It suits all skin types and is designed to deliver noticeable results for conditions such as wrinkles, sun damage, impurities, dryness, and dullness.
Treatment steps:
1. Mechanical peeling
The treatment begins with a deep-cleansing mechanical peel that gently removes dead skin cells and prepares your skin for maximum effect from the next step.
2. Chemical peeling
Next is a chemical peel that works deep to improve skin texture, reduce pigmentation changes and fine lines, and even out skin tone.
3. Retinol peeling
Finally, a retinol peel is applied, which the client rinses off at home after a few hours. Retinol is known for its skin-rejuvenating properties and helps improve skin texture, reduce impurities, and give a youthful glow.
Signature Facial Treatment by Estetiska
Many factors affect the skin’s condition, and no skin is the same as another. Therefore, we have developed an upgraded version of the classic facial treatment to achieve optimal results fully tailored to you—a perfect mix of relaxation and results!
This treatment includes classic steps such as skin analysis, steam with vapozone, and pore cleansing. These are complemented with a customized chemical peel and facial mask adapted to the skin’s well-being and desired results. Of course, facial massage is included, which is not only relaxing but also increases blood circulation and is lymphatic draining and swelling reducing. The treatment concludes with an infrared LED mask that increases circulation and firmness, reduces redness, and minimizes fine lines and wrinkles.
Mesoeclat Red Carpet
Mesoeclat® is a powerful skin rejuvenating peel that provides immediate results. This anti-aging treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production, boosts skin defense mechanisms, and neutralizes free radicals. The result is an even skin tone, radiance, and reduced fine lines and wrinkles.
What is unique about this treatment is that the peel, consisting of several ingredients, is not neutralized but left on the skin. An ampoule with active ingredients is then applied over the peel, and the treatment finishes with an effective tissue mask and special cream with pigment-evening, antioxidant, and moisturizing properties.
Mesoeclat gives immediate results but can advantageously be done in a course of 5 treatments, with two-week intervals. The results are enhanced and prolonged with each treatment, and the skin’s ability to absorb active ingredients increases.
Global Eyecon
Global Eyecon is a treatment specially designed for the eye area. It was developed because the skin around the eyes is five times thinner than the rest of the face, has a higher concentration of blood capillaries, and the muscles we use for facial expressions. This causes the first signs of aging to appear here, such as reduced elasticity, dark circles, puffiness, and expression lines. The treatment is safe for all skin types and conditions, regardless of melanin content.
The treatment consists of three steps, starting with a chemical peel that reduces signs of aging and fatigue and has a depigmenting effect. The next step is the application of a sterile solution with active ingredients that reduce swelling and pigmentation. These active ingredients are delivered deeper into the skin with microneedling. Finally, a cooling eye mask made of 3D nanofibers is applied, enhancing the effect of the active ingredients.
Global Eyecon requires a mandatory consultation to ensure the treatment can be performed. A course of three treatments is recommended for optimal results—one treatment every other week.
TriBella™ Facial Rejuvenation
TriBella™ is an innovative facial rejuvenation treatment combining three effective treatments in one protocol—a photo-facial treatment, an anti-aging treatment, and a skin resurfacing treatment—all in one. This is a high-intensity, non-invasive, effective form of skin renewal resulting in a rejuvenated appearance.
TriBella treatment combines three technologies:
- IPL– light treatment that effectively treats superficial blood vessels and pigmentation spots, resulting in photo skin rejuvenation

Skin rejuvenation with TriBella requires a course of 3 treatments with 4–6 weeks in between. Results appear gradually throughout the course, with the final result visible about 12 weeks after the last treatment.
