How an injectable treatment works

During your consultation, your practitioner will suggest areas that may benefit from muscle relaxants or fillers based on your wishes and personal anatomy. In some cases, the treatment may be divided into multiple sessions.

Before the injection, the skin is inspected and disinfected. Muscle relaxants usually do not require numbing cream, but it can be used if preferred. Using very fine needles, the chosen areas are injected with the muscle relaxant. Fillers are also administered using a fine needle to the targeted areas.

After the treatment, your skin will be checked and evaluated by your practitioner. You’re welcome to relax in the clinic for a while after your session.

Bruising and swelling are common side effects of all injectable treatments and usually subside within a few days. It’s important to follow the aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner.
