Dr. Rojda Gümüscü
Senior Consultant, Specialist in Plastic Surgery and General Surgery
Dr. Rojda Gümüscü has a comprehensive surgical background and is board-certified in both plastic surgery and general surgery. She received her medical training at Norrland University Hospital in Umeå, where she also completed her dental education. In addition to her work at Estetiska Institutet, Dr. Gümüscü conducts research at Uppsala University, focusing on breast reconstruction, and serves as a Senior Consultant at Norrland University Hospital.
She performs the full range of plastic surgery procedures but has a particular passion for reconstructive surgery for women following pregnancy and breastfeeding, as well as facial surgery, especially facelifts and rhinoplasty.
Dr. Gümüscü has previously worked as a plastic surgeon at both Norrland University Hospital and Uppsala University Hospital, where she was responsible for general plastic surgery at the Department of Plastic Surgery.
She has also worked as an oncologic surgeon specializing in breast surgery and microsurgical reconstructive plastic surgery following conditions such as breast cancer and trauma. Her career in aesthetic surgery began at Läkarhuset Norr and Specialistkliniken in Umeå. For seven years, she worked as a plastic surgeon and held the position of Medical Director at Art Clinic in Uppsala.
Dr. Gümüscü is also a certified trainer for Allergan and currently serves on the board of the Swedish Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She has also been a board member of the Swedish Council for Aesthetic Injections.
